Display Pages - mini websites
A Display Page or mini-website is a set of pages layed out to display the subject without using a full blown site.
The page contains the main picture, plus a few photo thumbnails that enlarge when clicked upon.
The main page includes text with details about the subject and appropriate contact information. The sample below is a “House For Sale” webpage configured to display on screens up to 1680 x 1050 resolution.

The web address or HTTP of your Pages can be sent to perspective buyers or clients by their request, letting them see the item with just a click. It is not recommended that you e-mail links at random. It can fall into the catagory of Junk Mail. So if your are asked for a picture, do one better and send a link to a group of photos with descriptions and perhaps a slideshow or video short.
There are any number of applications for Display Pages.
You can even load them onto a Products CD to hand out at seminars, conventions or auditions. And a CD can be viewed without being online.

Display Pages can be designed more economically if all text, photos and edited video are provided and in digital format. This will reduce construction time.
If you need photos taken, DF, with a Nikon D80, can be commissioned to shoot “stills” for you.
Low-end video, for web application, can be shot with a digital 8 camera. (Note: Video requires post-production, which can be time consuming depending on the content.) In all cases, DFweb’s hourly rate, plus costs, apply.
If you have more questions, please e-mail Doug at DFweb Designs or visit the contact page.
